2. The uses of straightening machine:
This straightened is used for straightening the curvatures of ferrous or non ferrous metal tubes OD6-OD385and reducing their sectional ovality.
3. Working principle and structural characteristics:
The major components of straightening machine include: upper frame assembly, lower frame assembly, columns, upper roller assembly, lower roller assembly, every assembly parts and the relationship of the reducer. Refer to the general drawing of straightening machine.
It is a seven rollers vertical type cross roll straightening machine. The layout type of roller is 2-2-2-1. Straightening rollers are drivable. Seven rollers are set cross-oblique on bi-level, forming a certain angle with principle center line of straightening tube. There are three rollers above, four rollers below. Upper and lower straightening rollers are driven by two metallurgical AC motor JZR263-10, pass speed changer (ratio: 0.7-5.7), through the universal coupling, drive straightening roller (diameter: 400mm) do rotational movement. When the rough tube is bitten into the straightening machine, it will do rotation and forward movement, forming repeatedly deformation to make the rough tube straightened.
The upper and lower frames of the straightening machine are weld assemblies. It forms a column frame structure through six columns coupling .It is convenient for observation and adjustment. Straightening Roller are fixed on roller supporting separately, then they are fixed on the upper and lower sliding seat of frame by screw. User can change the roller angle according to tube diameter. Loose bolts during adjusting period, lock and fasten it after adjustment. Three straightening rollers of upper frame do up and down movement by cycloidal gear speed reducer (P = 4kW, n = 60rpm) leading screw T180x8 to drive sliding support. The middle straightening roller of lower frame adopts gasket forms to adjust the up and down movement of sliding support. This structure is convenient for maintenance and adjustment.
4. Electrical System The control system is mainly made up of the main motor control parts and upper roller lift. The control part of main motor is used to control the motors of upper and lower rollers. Two motors run parallel. The incoming line voltage of main circuit is 380V. Upper lift is used for controlling up and down of upper straightening roller. Upper straightening rollers move separately, they are controlled by the button of operation desk.
